Captain Tom Cooper, an airline pilot for over 35 years, thirty of which was with Eastern Airlines has amassed in excess of 30,000 hours of flight time. After Eastern Airlines ceased operations he founded Gulfstream International Airlines, a commuter airline based in Florida which enjoyed a commercial relationship with both Continental and United Airlines. An off-shoot of the commuter airline was Gulfstream International Flight Academy which trained, and placed with major commuter and regional airlines alike, thousands of graduates. A noted aviation author, he is pleased to share his varied aviation experiences with our students as they prepare for an exciting and exhilarating career in aviation.
Stephen Fisher has over 21,000 hours flying, 14,000 of which are instruction, so there is not much he doesn’t know about flight training. He is one of the very few Senior Examiners for the CAA and Malta authorities as a Flight Instructor Examiner. He has also flown the 737-800 for Miami Air, amassing airline operational experience and brings huge knowledge to his students and the Academy programs on offer.
Oliver Fisher flew the VC10 for the Royal Air Force, flying around the world including Iraq, Afghanistan, the Falkland Islands, the USA and Europe. As a Chief Flying Instructor on the Grop Tutor and Head of Training he has instructing experience, and now flies the Airbus 320 for British Airways, bringing modern airline experience to the Academy.
